| | | Levy Curry was most recently Vice President of Human Resources for Kaiser Permanente Health Plan in the Mid-Atlantic Region where he had regional responsibility for all aspects of human resources. The Mid-Atlantic Region has revenue of 2 billion dollars. Kaiser Permanente is one of the largest healthcare providers in the United States with over 40 billion in revenue and more than 130,000 employees serving over 8.8 million members.
Mr. Curry has held senior HR roles with 7-Eleven, a worldwide retailer, and he has served as senior director and management consultant with Deloitte's Human Capital Advisory Services. Prior to these positions, he was Vice President, Human Resources for PageNet; Senior Vice President for Human Resources at American Federal Bank; and Vice President of Human Resources for the Pillsbury Restaurant Group which included Bennigan's and Steak & Ale chains. He started his career as a Staff Attorney for the EEOC in Atlanta.
Mr. Curry holds a JD degree from Atlanta Law School and a BA from Morehouse College. He has also undertaken advanced studies at the University of Michigan and Southern Methodist University.
Mr. Curry served on the Board of the Aquinas Fund, a publicly trade company until it was sold in June 2005. His public and community service includes Board member on Southwestern Medical School Foundation, the Advisory Board at the University of Texas at Dallas, SMU Human Resources Roundtable, and the African American Museum in Dallas. |
