Selecting sales-oriented fast casual restaurant managers using a quick services assessment.
Solution
The BHI assessment was administered to a random sample of Managers in a national, multi-unit, fast-casual restaurant company. Managers were grouped into high and low categories based on actual store sales.
Results
The assessment was found to be predictive of sales performance in that it accurately identified 90% of high performing Managers based on an overall assessment rating of Good or Excellent. Thus, utilizing the BHI assessment as a tool for hiring fast-casual managers can positively impact restaurant sales.
