A BHI competency-based management selection system including the BHSelect™ for Restaurants assessment and a structured interview was implemented at a multi-unit, full-service restaurant company. Annualized management turnover was tracked over the following two-year period.
Results
Management turnover decreased from a 23% beginning annualized rate to 14% over the next two years following the implementation of BHSelect™ for Restaurants. Using an annual baseline of 300 restaurants and a cost estimate of $5,000 per manager turned over, the total return on investment based on turnover savings was $605,000.
