Council of Hotel & Restaurant TrainersBatrus Hollweg International (BHI) is a silver sponsor of the Council of Hotel & Restaurant Trainers (CHART), which consists of more than 400 hospitality training professionals from multi-unit lodging and foodservice companies. BHI supports the CHART mission to help hospitality training professionals improve operational performance by developing people.
BHI conducted the hallmark study, "Blueprint for Trainer Development: A Customized Competency Model for the Hospitality Industry," to define the competencies necessary for success across a variety of roles in restaurant/hospitality training. As part of the study, distinctive drivers and dynamics of the hospitality business were identified and integrated into the competency model.
BHI has also facilitated Executive Leadership Team meetings for CHART and has served on panels at the organization's conferences held twice a year.

| National Restaurant Association Educational FoundationBatrus Hollweg International (BHI) conducted the groundbreaking "Industry of Choice Study" for the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation in 1997. By providing an in-depth understanding of the talent needs of the industry and benchmarking employee attitudes and expectations, this study provides companies with a strong foundation for strategic human resources planning. BHI is an advocate and participant in the online Resource Center developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation as a way to bring solutions to foodservice companies dealing with staffing, development, and retention issues.

People ReportBatrus Hollweg International (BHI) has been a supporter and advocate of the People Report since it was founded in 1995. People Report is the foremost provider of human resource metrics, benchmarks, trends, and best people practices for the foodservice industry. People Report publishes quarterly and annual reports for its members that track, analyze, and benchmark the people side of the P&L. Key findings are further analyzed by segment in the restaurant industry, categorized by sales, guest check, and, where possible, service style. Lewis Hollweg, Chairman and CEO of BHI, serves on the Advisory Board of the People Report and BHI is a sponsor of the organization's annual Best Practices Conference for operations and human relations executives. |
|  Women's Foodservice Forum (WFF)Batrus Hollweg International (BHI) is committed to the mission of the Women's Foodservice Forum (WFF) and actively works to help the organization achieve its vision. BHI conducted research and developed the "Women's Foodservice Forum Leadership Competency Model" which has guided program development throughout the organization since 2001. In 2006, BHI sponsored and guided the development of the "WFF Online Leadership Competency Assessment".
Linda Pharr, Chief Restaurant Relations Officer of BHI, currently serves on the WFF Executive Committee and is serving as the 2008/09 Chair of the Women's Foodservice Forum. Lewis Hollweg, Chairman and CEO of BHI, is a past member of the Board of Directors. Lewis and Linda were instrumental in planning and facilitating the first WFF Top-To-Top Summit, a landmark meeting of CEO's to collectively explore the barriers and develop solutions for achieving gender diversity. In 2003, the WFF Top-To-Top Summit was held again to address the topic of gender stereotypes and the WFF sought research, planning, and facilitation leadership from BHI.
